It's July, and it's the day I travel from my Wiltshire home to Oxford city centre to photograph Isabella and Patrick's church wedding! You may notice something a little different about this collection. While I usually favour bright, colourful photos, Isabella and Patrick love black and white, so they asked for their photos to have more of those than my norm, and I love them!

A lot of my weddings are around the Oxfordshire area these days. I love doing wedding fairs and choose to only showcase at a select few each year with Guides for Brides, who are also Oxfordshire-based. I could do wedding fairs closer to home, but honestly, the couples I meet at these fairs are always so lovely! As part of my sustainability ethos, I don't travel more than ~70miles from home, so as not to need to use hotels and add to my carbon footprint. While Oxford is near the edge of my travel limit, it's such a beautiful area with many stunning venues.
But let's get back to Isabella and Patrick! They'd chosen St Hilda's College to celebrate after their ceremony, so I parked there and took a short walk, managing to dodge the summer showers that I'd thankfully packed for, into the city centre and the University Church of St Mary the Virgin. What a stunning church! Located near the Bodleian Library and the Radcliffe Camera, it has a sense of grandeur usually seen in cathedrals. They even had a full choir!

Isabella arrived in a stunning classic MG Midget, owned by a friend. My dad used to drive one of these in his youth, so I've got a soft spot for them.

The service was beautiful, with family attending from Isabella's home country of Brazil. There were plenty of Brazilian touches throughout the rest of the day, including the food and the band in the evening.
Enjoy the rest of the photos from this stunning wedding!
