About Me.

Hi! I'm Libby, and I live in the heart of Wiltshire with my husband, two young children, and a very large cat, where we're very slowly renovating our forever home. In the evening, you can find me pottering around my garden, pretending I know what I'm doing, or looking after the many houseplants I own. My favourite things other than the above are chocolate (probably an unhealthy amount), hiking (pre-children), watercolour painting and reading a good crime novel, oh, and birds. Basically, I'm an old lady in a young(er) lady's body!

I've been photographing weddings since 2010, and here I am now, 15 years later, an award-winning photographer and loving every moment. Of course, I'm always asked how I got into photography, and cliché as it might be, my Dad is the reason for that. He's an amazing artist, and while I can't paint a good landscape for toffee, add a camera and some people to the scene and I'm in my element. I love documenting moments, whether that's the important days like weddings and christenings, everyday life with family, or showcasing someone's small business that they put their life and soul into in the same way I do mine.

Photography isn't just about what I see through the lens; it's about the deep emotions that accompany those moments

My Approach.

If there's one thing I can confidently describe my approach as, it's laid-back! I believe the best photos come when people are comfortable and relaxed, which is why I focus on creating a fun, stress-free atmosphere. I'm almost always asked how long I've been friends with the newlyweds because of the easy relationship I built with them.

I don't force awkward, stiff poses. Instead, I give fun, natural prompts that encourage genuine laughter and connection, allowing your true personality to shine through. The goal is for you to feel like you're just having a great time, not like you're "working" for the camera. It's not a Vogue shoot!

Whether it's capturing those candid moments, intimate exchanges, or spontaneous bursts of laughter, my style is all about documenting your day as it unfolds, authentically. It’s your story, your emotions, and your connections—nothing forced, just real moments.

I always go the extra mile, be it lying face down on a dirt track to get a stunning sunset photo, hopping on a punt to get the best group photos by the river, or even sewing up the bridesmaid's dress on the morning of the wedding. I've done all of those things and so much more over the years. I've served food on my own break at a DIY venue with no staff, I've lit firepits when no one else knew how, I've even chased after the bride's wedding sandals floating away in the sea! Good job I brought spare shoes with me to that one.

My Ethos.

Sustainability plays a huge part in my life too. Climate change is something that's been on my radar since I was a child, but as an adult, I feel a real responsibility to help make this world a better place for my children. Being able to carry those values into my business has been an eye-opening and rewarding journey. You can find a whole section dedicated to Sustainability here.

I want your day to be as perfect as you do, and I'll do everything I can to make sure that happens.

Venues.

I've been fortunate enough to work at many wedding venues across Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. My general rule of thumb is that as long as it's not more than two hours away, I'm happy to travel there. It keeps my travel down, which in turn keeps my carbon footprint down. Here are just a few I've shot at before:

Leigh Park Country House Hotel & Vineyard

Wellington Barn

Bowerchalke Barn

Chalk, Rushall

Widbrook Grange

Elmhay Park

Moonacre

Eastington Park

Caswell House

Tythe

Primrose Hill Farm

Cherwell Boathouse, Oxford

FAQs.

Do you travel? Yes, within about 60-70 miles from home. As long as it's within two hours so I don't need to add a hotel stay to my day I'm more than happy to travel to your venue or where you're getting ready

How do we book? Great question! First, we'll have a video call which I'll follow up with a quote. You can accept the quote and complete your booking online.

How long until we get our photos? My target is always 6-8 weeks from your wedding, but it depends on when within wedding season you got married. I'll always keep my editing list up-to-date in the Client Area of my website so you can see where you are in the queue with an ETA on gallery deliveries

Do you offer albums? Absolutely! There is no better feeling than seeing your photos printed out for you to hold. My albums are handmade in the UK by a company who hold sustainability as close to their heart as I do. The quality is beyond anything you can imagine.

Are you insured? Yes! Any professional photographer you approach should be insured. I hold Public Liability Insurance to £5m and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Do you have back up equipment? Yes. I've got several lenses, lights, batteries, memory cards and two main cameras (soon to be three) so if anything ever failed I'd have something else to use.

Do we get all of the original photos from our wedding or other photo shoots? No, nor would you want them. Have you seen that viral photo of Beyonce mid performance pulling a face? Once I've finished I carefully go through each and every photo, hand selecting the best of them all to send you. I have a high standard so you can be certain that if it's not good enough for whatever reason (duplication, eyes closed, Beyonce face), it's not being delivered.

How many photos will we get? I never promise a set amount. Every shoot is different and with such high standards, I would never want to be delivering sub standard work just to make up numbers. I'd much rather you had high quality, not high quantity. My aim is to tell a story through the photographs - but I don't want it to be a flick book! Rest assured though, you will love every photo you receive.

Should I feed you on our wedding day? I'm never going to turn down food, but if you're worried about cost please don't worry about me. Caterers are often rushed off their feet making sure everyone gets their food and as a result, we photographers sometimes get left until last at which point I want to be getting back to you instead of quickly stuffing my face with (and not getting time to enjoy) the amazing meal you've arranged! I'm happy to bring my own food. Please let me know if you do plan on feeding me though so there is no awkward moment when I'm eating a sandwich and someone appears with a full plate of food for me! (That's happened... and yes I ate both). Also, I'm allergic to shellfish! I do love cake though...

Can I see an example of a full wedding? Yes, actually I insist on it! It's important to me that your expectations of what your final gallery will look like are set so I will show you however many galleries you would like to see.

What happens if you're ill on the day of our shoot/wedding? If it's a shoot we can move then I'll contact you to see if that's possible, giving as much notice as possible. If it's your wedding you probably won't want to re-schedule that for me (I'm not offended don't worry)! Fortunately, I have a fantastic network of other photographers and I would arrange cover with notes easy to hand over so they know exactly what is going on. I'll still edit the photos so you'll get my style of editing.

I know you own the copyright to the photos, but am I able to get them printed? Absolutely, in fact if you don't get your photos printed I'll cry. On a serious note though, you have "rights to reproduce" digital files, which means you can print and share the images for your own personal use. Just don't enter them into the Best Wedding Photographer competitions! I do have a printing service too, so if you'd like to buy your photos through your online gallery it's easy to do.
