Sustainability.

Sustainability isn't a bolt-on for me; it's something I've thought carefully about and built into how I run my business. I want to do work I'm proud of, and that means being honest about my impact and doing what I can to reduce it.

I'm an accredited Sustainable Wedding Alliance supplier, certified Carbon Literate, and carbon neutral. I choose suppliers and products with sustainability in mind, work locally wherever I can, and keep my operations as paperless as possible: digital contracts, invoices, and communications as standard.

In my day-to-day operations, I aim to be paperless wherever feasible, utilising digital contracts, invoices, and communications to minimize paper waste. By embracing technology, I not only save trees but also streamline my processes for a more efficient and convenient experience for you, my client.

As part of my commitment to sustainability, I also share tips and guides with my clients throughout their journey with me. I provide valuable insights on planning an eco-conscious wedding, from choosing sustainable suppliers to incorporating eco-friendly elements into the ceremony and reception. By doing so, I hope to inspire and empower couples to make environmentally conscious choices for their special day.

Furthermore, I am an active advocate for positive change in the wedding industry. I collaborate with like-minded vendors and organisations to promote sustainable practices and encourage others to adopt eco-friendly approaches. I believe that collective action can lead to significant improvements and create a more sustainable wedding industry for everyone.

By choosing Libby Clark Photography, you not only get bright, vibrant, and fun documentary wedding photography, but you also support a business that aligns with your values. Together, we can make a difference and create lasting memories while treading lightly on the planet.

Let's capture your love story with a focus on sustainability, preserving not only your cherished moments but also the environment for generations to come.

Positive Changes

Here are some of the changes I've already made as part of my Sustainability Policy

Meetings

I've replaced face to face meeitngs with Zoom where possible. This reduces travel and any emissions resulting from that.

Brochures

I still attend wedding fairs so brochures are really important to help people remember you. I've carefully selected a company who use sustainable printing practices and recycled paper

Paperless

I've gone completely paperless! All invoicing, contracts and questionnaires are done online reducing my paper waste

Wedding Albums

I've selected a UK based album supplier who handcraft their albums using sustainable materials. Additionally, they are a member of Carbon Neutral Britain

Travel

I've made the decision to only cover weddings within a 2-hour radius of my home. No more driving up and down the country for weddings, and no more hotel stays!

Tree Planting

To encourage a more environmentally concious wedding I start the journey with each wedding couple who book by dedicating a planted tree to them via The National Forest. They get a certificate with their name on it as proof of their impact.
